Another source has year of birth as 1730. Philip and his wife Christina were killed by Indians and their son Peter was captured.25 Records relating to his estate report that he had 12 children; at least 5 were by Christina (found in church records).25 Known as "Blockhouse Philip."25
Philip was naturalized in 1765, implying he was born overseas.80 Parents given here are according to family tradition and not supported by and factual documentation.11 |
