| From an old Klingensmith bible in possession of Johnny Klingensmith. Information given 22 July 1926 to Frances Uncapher and Dr. Joseph Orr: Joseph Klingensmith's wife and three of his children brutally murdered in 1670 by Louis XIV of France in a religious crusade, and Joseph Sr., Joseph Jr. and Andrew fled down the Rhine into Holland where they took a boat to America.25 This story may have no factual basis. | ||||||
