Soon thereafter he moved to Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, where he bought 200 acres of land (elsewhere the same source says this 200 acres was at Saltsburg). In about 1800 he and his family moved to Indiana County and purchased land near present Saltsburg.114 Lived on the old homestead at Saltsburg (Armstrong Co?).8 |
