| Simon P. Shuey, brother of Henry D. Shuey, was associated with him in the management of the home farm during the years of their father's retirement, and for five years after his death. On the division of the property Simon P. Shuey took that part which now constitutes his home farm. He owns another farm of seventy-two acres near the town of Grapevine, Pennsylvania. Like his brother, he is a Republican in politics, and for four years served as supervisor of the township. For the same length of time he has held the office of deacon of the First Reformed church. He married, in March, 1900, Margaret A., daughter of George and Anna M. (Lowman) Dressman, of Hempfield township, and they have one child, Allen G.16 |
