| Settled in Northampton 1660, coming from Wethersfield, though his name also appears in the records of Saybrook and New London. He was a modest retiring man. Was second deacon of the new church, being elected in 1668. His home lot was a portion of the lot granted to Thomas Langton, whose daughter he married. He later moved to Westfield, and from there to Suffield.21 |
