In a list called "Liberale gifte van 1748", Jacob is mentioned as follows: "Jacob Ruessink married with Berentjen Heusinkveld has three children under 16 years and a maidservant Dersken Rensink." They lived in a part of De Heurne called "Schravoort"--Frits thinks on the farm "Ruesink Jacobshuis", Kamerstraat 8, next to "Backhuis" where he was born.39
