[Also listed as emigrating from Aalten (IJzerlo) 15 August 1854, if this be the same Derk Jan; occupation a "farmer-servant" in Lintelo. There is a Derk Jan Ruesink, age 20, who arrived 30 Sep 1854 in New York on the ship Leila from Rotterdam.] His sister Christina emigrated from same house number May 1855.10 In 1860 he was living in Alto Twp., Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin.
