The former Maude Ruesink, she was born Sept. 17, 1891, in York Township, and married John Ramaker on Dec. 17, 1913, in her parent's home. The couple farmed in York Township until 1957, when they retired and moved to Cherry Grove. Mr. Ramaker died in 1971. Mrs. Ramaker was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Dorcas Society of Greenleafton Reformed Church. Survivors include a brother, Paul Ruesink of Spring Valley. Two sisters and a brother also preceded her in death. The funeral was Saturday at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Haack officiating. Burial was in Greenleafton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harlan, Ellis, and Richard Ruesink, Donald Scheevel, Roger Hahn and Robert Meyer. | ||||||||||||
