In 1845 she moved with her son Anthony to Breedenbroek. Later that same year she went to her daughter Johanna in Winterswijk, and late in 1845 or very early 1846 Berendje, Johanna, Gerrit Willem Wilterdink and daughter Janna Geertruida Wilterdink left Meddo 85 De Slippe in Winterswijk and emigrated on the ship "Chesapeake" to the U.S., arriving in New Orleans 18 Mar 1846.39,40

His house burned down 27 Feb 1820, and two of his children died that same year.39 Lived at the farm/house Riete 2 (afgbr.) in 1832.36 He and his family moved to Mechelen (Gendringen) in Feb 1837, where he died two years later.39
According to Ben Beernink, Nicolaas & Berendjen also had a son Toni b. 1797 d. 29 Sep 1798.145 |
