| Lenawee Co until he retired to Tavares, Florida. He returned to Michigan in the 1990s and stayed with his cousin John Ruesink after John's wife died in May 2000. S.S. "Mike" Ruesink TIPTON: Ralph C. "Mike" Ruesink, 92, of Tipton, died Sept. 12, 2000, at the home of his cousin, John Ruesink, Adrian. Mike was born July 23, 1908, in Tecumseh, the son of John and Bertha (Claus) Ruesink. On Aug. 30, 1929, he married Lorene Jean Wisner. He was a lifelong resident of the Tecumseh area and was involved in farming, trucking and construction. He was a charter member of the Grace Bible Church, Tecumseh, and an associate staff member of the Drive-In Ministries in St. Petersburg, Fla., since 1973. Mike us survived by one daughter, Beverly R. Ruesink of Adrian, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He most recently lived with and was cared for by the John Ruesink family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, Ramon and Ralph E. "Ned" Ruesink, and two sisters, Julia Titley and Jane Baker. A Memorial Service is being planned for a future date. Arrangements were by the Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Michigan Heart Fund or the American Kidney Foundation. | ||||||||||||
