In this city, at a country place called "Snoeyenbosch", near the German Border, lived the Snoeyenbosch (Snoeijenbosch) family consisting of the father Harmen J. (Herman) Snoeyenbosch, born February 22, 1775, his wife Elezebetta (Elizabeth) Winkelhorst-Snoeyenbosch, born April 9, 1790, their six daughters & one son:
