| Misc. Notes |
Death certificate and gravestone give year of birth as 1879; this given by her husband Morgan. Given name may be Eleanor, not Elma Nora. Bruin later became called Martinsburg.
According to family members, Nora first had typhoid fever, followed immediately by pneumonia and then TB,--all this shortly before she died.
According to Gussie & Gertie, Morg & Nora lived in 6 homes in 12 years. Further, they report that "Aunt Lizzie" (Morg's sister) once said "Nora is better dead than living with Morg." |
