Not certain that she was a daughter of Michael Bortz. She does not appear on any record I've seen of Michael's family, although there are two IGI records in the LDS library of Lydia, born 3 Aug 1799, daughter of Michael (or Johann Michael) Bortz and his wife Magdalena.56

On June 20, 1819, Friederich & Lydia Schott were sponsors at the baptism of Lidia, daughter of Michael & Barbara Bortz, at the Greensburg Lutheran Church.41
