Matilda's death certificate lists dysentery as cause of death and gives her parent's names as Henry Zeberk & Wilmena Slegler.36 Immigrated to America in 1871,30 187223 or 1873. "She was a patient sufferer for about 15 years, being obliged to walk with a cane and crutch. Her last illness was of short duration. On Sunday she became ill and on Wednesday she passed away."23 She was asthmatic.22
