Prob. resided in Monroe Co, Michigan, or in the Toledo area. Owned 20 acres in Sec 5 (T8S, R5E) of Riga Twp & 6 acres in Lucas Co, Ohio; Karl bought the latter (or both?) in 1906.
One of his sons may have married a Martha Behrendt. Not certain that Rudolf was a brother of Karl, but Karl was named guardian of his three sons in 1895.
Not found in 1880 census. Is the Rudolph Gust found in the 18 Oct 1892 Chicago voter registration this person? He lived at 1050 W. 19th St and had been in Illinois & Cook Co for 25 yrs, but at this address only 3 mo. His "date of papers" is listed as 1880 from the --- Court of Cook County.
