| Could her surname have been Loeschman? We have a postcard from Rudolph Gust addressed to Fritz Loeschman, c/o Chas. Gust Sr, Riga; the message is "Hello Uncle Fred, Vie Gates! From your nephew Rudolph Gust, 909 W 21 Place, Chicago"10 This card was probably written about 1918. Or perhaps she was a Schultz? A Carl Schultz of Monroe named her and Charles (Karl) Gust, and nobody else, in his 1907 will.84 Came to America in 1883.31 1900 census has her in Washington Twp, Lucas Co, Ohio, as Amelia Wagoner (divorced), and says she had 4 ch. all alive.30 1910 census has her w/4 ch. in Washington Twp, Lucas Co, Ohio.48 In 1920 she and her kids lived on West State Line Road in Washington Twp, Lucas Co, Ohio:75 -- Amelia Head 55 Wid immigr. 1902 Germany Gardner -- Walter Son 34 S Illinois Car repair-car shop -- Rudolph Son 26 S Illinois Car repair-car shop -- Eugene Son 24 S Michigan Car repair-car shop -- August Wagner Son 23 S Michigan Gardner In 1930 census she reported coming to U.S. in 1883.31 | ||||||||
