He was presented by Lord Rich to the parish. He was removed in 1606. It is speculated removal was for non-conformity. He resided between 3 Sep 1616 and 20 in St. Bartholomewes, Sandwich, Kent, England. He wrote a treatise from his chamber in the Hospital of St. Bartholomewes on the first date. He said he was born and bred in Sandwich, Kent. He wrote another treatise "from my poor lodging" in the same hospital on the second date. He may have been the Chaplin there, but he was also being cared for, having spent his inheritance for the good of others. He left a message to his children. It is not known when or where he died, but it may have been at St. Bartholomewes soon after August 1622.37 |
