| Notes for Roger (Spouse 1) | ||||||||
| Was made a freeman of Plymouth Colony May 8, 1631. He was a member of the church at Salem in 1636, and the following year was granted 50 acres of land, the family at that time comprising five people. He removed to Providence about 1643 [in another place the same book says ca. 1649], and was made a freeman there in 1655. There is a tradition in the family that Roger Mowry and Roger Williams were kinsmen.22 | ||||||||
