Emigrated to America from house number 461 in De Heurne about 1882 with parents and 4 sibs.10 According to his obituary, he immigrated to America when two years old and settled in the Greenleafton area. In 1889 he moved to Prairie View, Kansas, where he stayed until 1934 when he moved to Colorado before returning to the Greenleafton-Etna area in 1936. In 1952 John and his wife Nettie moved to Stewartville, Minnesota, to live with her daughter Mrs. Harold King.12 Name spelled Reusink on tombstone.3
1920 census has him in Clinton Twp, Rock Co, Minnesota.5
