Notes for Christina te Krony [immigrant]
F. Passe has place of burial as Evergreen Cemetery in Bemis.1 Some sources say year of birth was 1863, not 1862.

Came to America (Wisc.) in 1869.111 Moved with her parents to Deuel Co., S. Dakota, before 1883.112

Ten of her 13 children celebrated their golden wedding anniversary!. "Christina was living in an old peoples home in Estilline, S.D., when she died."112
Notes for Gerrit William (Bill) (Spouse 1)
This is probably the Wm. Rusink who appears in the Feb. 1874 "deportment of the pupils of the Intermediate Department of the Brandon School for the month of January." He is included in the "A Division" with Hattie L. Simpson, teacher.124

Some accounts say he was born in 1857. Owned his farm in Castlewood Twp., Hamlin Co., South Dakota. Married twice and raised 15 children. Moved to the Dakota Territory shortly after marrying his first wife in 1876 (or '78?).111 In 1920 he retired and moved from the farm & into Castlewood. For awhile his son William Jr. rented the farm; it later sold to John & Christine Bly, she a daughter of William Sr.'s daughter Zennie.112

"They arrived in Goodwin, S.D., by train [in 1879] and settled on the Hamlin and Deuel county line."112
