Emigrated to America from house number 461 in De Heurne about 1882 with parents and 4 sibs.10 In the fall of 1889 he moved to Prairie View, Kansas, with his mother and sibs. After his marriage he farmed in the Prairie View and Luctor vicinity the rest of his life.4
