Catherine's surname is given as Anderson in some sources. Reed seems slightly more likely and is what appears in Boucher & Jordan's (1906) History of Westmoreland Co.44 Said to have had 10 children.44

Perhaps she was a brother to John Reed of North Washington and a dau. of James Reed who is said to have immigrated in 1811 and lived to the age of 96 years. See Jordan, Vol 3, p. 623.16
